Become a printing assistant and build your future.
Imprime-Emploi is proud to be an employment integration company. We’ve been a member of the Collectif des entreprises d’insertion du Québec since 1996. Every year, we train 42 young adults who have difficulty getting or keeping a job. After completing our program, more than 70% of them find employment or go back to school.
Our employment integration program
Imprime-Emploi hires young adults looking to enter the job market. We offer hands-on training in print binding and finishing.
What's Imprime-Emploi’s integration program?
- On-site training
- 6 months (26 weeks)
20 weeks of hands-on binding and finishing training in our facilities
4 weeks of work placement
2 weeks of job search guidance
- Vocational training attestation issued by Imprime-Emploi and the Centre de services scolaire de Montréal or
- Training Certificate for a Semiskilled Trade issued by the Ministère de l’Éducation et de l’Enseignement supérieur du Québec.

- 18 and over
- Unemployed
- Without income, on social assistance or receiving employment insurance benefits
- In a situation of limited education and professional experience
- Having difficulty finding or keeping a job
- Eager to join the job market

What does the program teach?
- How to cut paper using a semi-automatic Polar cutter
- How to fold documents using a MBO T52
- Manual document assembly
- Saddle stitching with a Bostitch no 7
- Spiral and Wire-O binding
- Score cut slitting
- Health and safety at work
What are the working conditions?
- 35-hour work week
- Monday to Thursday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM and Friday from 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM
- Paid at minimum wage applicable in Quebec
- Term of contract: 26 weeks
